To manage the Project Improvements Knowledge Management Work-stream at Sellafield.
To establish Project delivery networks of learning internally and externally
Develop and deliver implementation plans for effective learning from experience and knowledge management across Sellafield’s Project community.
Work with multiply Projects to deploy learning from experience and considered best practices on the Projects being executed by Sellafield.
Post holder will report to the Head of Programme and Project Improvements within the Project Delivery Directorate.
Post holder will work collaboratively with the Project delivery leads (Heads of Projects & Senior PM’s) and key internal and external stakeholders from across the business.
Post holder will design and develop effective Knowledge Mgt arrangements for Project delivery at Sellafield.
Identifying and recording current best practices the post holder will, collaboratively define proposals for improvement and will liaise with subject matter experts from the Project professions to baseline existing position (Current State Report) and Develop proposals for improvement (Knowledge Mgt. Blueprint).
Where required the Post holder will assess and analyse available learning sources and produce summary reports of information for dissemination to relevant Sellafield project communities and stakeholders.
A working knowledge of Major Project Delivery & APM Standards
Working knowledge and experience of Shared Learning, methods, processes and tools
Ability to gain an understanding of diverse work-scopes quickly, identify relevance of complex information and distil simple messages and produce concise learning.
Awareness of the Project Management Fundamentals
Ability to influence others, work collaboratively to build and deliver common goals and build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Balance competing demands for resource.
Attention to detail in the quality of work output delivered.
APM or MSP Courses completed - Desirable.
Project or Engineering discipline Chartership Preferred.
